Background
FiberLight is a premier provider of mission critical, high performance networking services including Ethernet, Wavelengths and IP, SONET and Dark Fiber optical transport network solutions. Solutions are provided to telecom carriers, government, enterprise, content providers and web-centric businesses. FiberLight wholly owns its 500,000 fiber mile network in key growth areas and offers robust metro networks in 21 metros within Georgia, Florida, Washington, D.C., Texas, Virginia and Maryland, as well as Wide Area Networking options at layer 1, 2 and 3 to major commercial hubs throughout the country.
Implementation
Avyve approached the project with an keen understanding of FiberLight's specific requirements and included design elements that added value to the space. The objective was to create an environment that allows FiberLight associates to communicate and share information more effectively.
The Avyve team worked closely the FiberLight to ensure attention to every detail. Integrating technology into a company that gathers and deploys time-sensitive and mission-critical data requires a unique discipline and years of experience with this type of implementation.
FiberLight Headquarters
- Network Operations Center utilizing two WXGA 4000 lumen video projectors directed towards two 113” fixed frame projection screens, two 52” flat panel monitors with speakers, and a 10” wired touch control panel
- Large Conference Room with a WXGA 4000 lumen video projector and 130” motorized projection screen, six ceiling speakers with audio amplifier, four pop-up omni-directional table microphones, and a 6” wired touch panel with lighting controls
- Collaborative Whiteboard Room which features a SMART 87’diagonal interactive whiteboard with Meeting Pro collaborative software, a short throw WXGA video projector with integrated speakers, a wireless audio conference system, and a 4” wall mounted touch panel control
- Training Room with two WXGA 4000 lumen video projector and two fixed frame projection screens, nine ceiling speakers, two Sympodium annotation monitors, dedicated and laptop computer interface, and 8.5" wired touch panel control
- Reception Area with 52" flat panel monitor with integrated speakers, and dedicated computer interface
