A UNIQUE APPROACH TO AV DESIGN

Background

BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee (BCBST) has become the largest insurance provider in Tennessee and the single largest private employer in Chattanooga. As a result of this growth, corporate office operations expanded into 12 different facilities in Chattanooga. Seeking a more efficient, cost effective and collaborative work structure, BCBST decided to centralize their Chattanooga headquarters to an area known as Cameron Hill.

Implementation

BCBST’s new 950,000 square foot headquarters accommodates nearly 4000 employees.  AVYVE was charged to create state-of-the-art environments which would allow its employees to collaborate, present, and communicate with minimal operating effort, and without technology intruding in the interior design.  The AVYVE team took into account space design and aesthetics, room opportunities and limitations, technology capabilities and employee needs with a tremendous amount of attention to detail.  The result was well-designed, intuitive and flexible systems.

  • Boardroom with HD rear projection and dual projection on motorized lifts for a unique 360 degree viewing of the presentation from the round boardroom table, presentation capabilities with control of audio visual, as well as lighting and shades
  • Integrated Video Conferencing Suites with dual rear screen projection capabilities, integrated microphones and audio conferencing, and a custom control system with total conferencing functionality
  • Training Center with four way divisible training room, Avyve custom Smart lecterns and integrated audio conferencing
  • Path of Wellness - a unique installation of flat panels behind large scale graphics lit by LED creating an incredibly unique experience for guests and employees
  • Digital Signage located at the employee entrance of the campus, as well as in the cafeteria is used to communicate corporate information to employees
