AVYVE COMPLETES NEW HEADQUARTERS FOR SOUTHERN COMPANY
December 1, 2006
Southern Company, the premier energy company serving the southeast, recently relocated their new headquarters to 30 Allen Plaza. AVYVE was selected to be the audio visual integrator for the project.
AVYVE implemented audio visual systems throughout the new headquarters including the following areas: the executive Boardroom, divisible multi-purpose room, collaborative conference rooms, training rooms, break areas and executive offices.
The Boardroom features dual projection and integrated audio conferencing. A 10" wireless touch panel was placed in the boardroom to give the presenter the flexibility to move around the room and still control the system. The touch panel controls the functionality of the audio visual
components, window treatments, as well as lighting.
The divisible multi-purpose room can be used for training and large company meetings. The room features projection systems, audio conferencing, multiple source capability, as well as wireless touch panels for control.
Southern Company's headquarters, developed by Barry Real Estate Companies, Inc., has brought its headquarters to 223,685 square feet, making it the building's primary tenant.
