AVYVE PARTICIPATES IN HABITAT FOR HUMANITY IN NEW ORLEANS

AVYVE, a leading audio visual systems integration company headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, had its first annual President's Club Trip that took place April 11 through April 14, 2007 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
The President's Club Trip is an annual strategy meeting of the top employees of the company as voted for by their peers. In addition to strategy sessions the group spent a day volunteering for the New Orleans Habitat for Humanity. Habitat for Humanity is a non profit organization that works to eliminate substandard housing throughout the country. Their day of volunteering consisted of painting a house in effort to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
"I know that we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience and felt uplifted knowing we were giving our time so that someone else can have a place to live" says Brandon Wylie, Vice President of Home Technologies Group.
About New Orleans Habitat for Humanity
Habitat for Humanity volunteers work in partnership with the staff, qualified homeowners and sponsors to eliminate substandard housing in New Orleans, Louisiana. This partnership builds simple affordable homes that are sold to the homeowner with a long-term, interest-free mortgage. Families otherwise not able to own a home are thus made capable of building a better future for themselves and their children. Since its inception in 1983, the NOAHH team has built 75 homes with and for families in need, helping to house hundreds of people. Due to the devastation incurred by Hurricane Katrina, New Orleans Habitat for Humanity has greatly increased the size of their staff and the scope of the projects, completing 35 new homes during the summer of 2006 alone.
